in West Palm Beach, FL offers 20-30 delicious ciders that can border on other worldly. Forget about any experience you may have with a hard cider such as Angry Orchard. Those commercially produced hard ciders barely pass for an introduction to the fruit magic of craft ciderworks. Fermented freshly pressed fruits blended with spices ranging from a pear, strawberry, guava, cherry, nectarine, mango and hand selected varieties of apples. Accomplice just celebrated their 3rd year anniversary and they hosted an event with a Cat in the Hat theme. Every hour they tapped a Cindy Lou, Cat in the Hat or a Horton to the applause of a packed house. The tap room resembles an unfinished garage and doesn't pretend to be anything more than a place to park on a stool and enjoy a cold drink. IN addition to the ciders they also offer a unique selection of wines preserved under 2psi of nitro and 15 guest taps from a good variety of craft breweries. With pleasant and knowledgeable staff working behind the bar the What more could you ask for? The daily food trucks are there to take care of any hunger pains you may have.

We have stopped in a number of times during the day, just before closing, week nights and weekends and the place is always a relaxing watering hole. Cider can range from 4% ABV to 15%ABV but it isn't as filling as malty brew. It offers a range of sweetness or tartness to please just about anyone looking for a tart lemonade or a sweet nectar. Honey is used to calm some of the flavor and cross over to the world of meads. Weather ice cold on a hot day or even heated and spiced on a cold evening, cider can be a nice change when you are ready to take a break from all the IPA's and stouts at the craft breweries. In 2018 we see ciderworks claiming a place in almost every tap room and if you are in Florida it will likely be an Accomplice. Next time you are in Sea World or heading to the beach make sure you make some room in the cooler for a few crowlers of cider.
