Gulf Stream Brewing Company

While passing through downtown Ft Lauderdale, on the recommendation of a friend, we took a couple minutes to stop in at Gulf Stream Brewing Co. We only had 30 minutes but was it ever worth it. Great recommendation! We scored two stools at the bar and bartender Greg took care of us real quick. We told him we only had 30 minutes so he took our order and dropped off the tab at the same time. We chatted with the guy rounding up players for the trivia contest and enjoyed our flight. We sampled the Batonka X-mas Old Ale, Runnin Trips Triple, MoBetta, Pils, and Prison Break Lager. This is a place where they change up the menu almost every day. I justed schecked the site to get some info on our beers and the menu is completely different with some really cool brews we have got to go back and try. Gulf Stream is a really nice, laid back joint with the brewery and barrels in plain view. The bar is a wrap around with a pout island in the middle so everyone gets a view of the action. The board displays what is on tap and what's coming next. We even listened in as the crew tossed around names for the next 3 labels. I think they were going for a cannabis theme the following week.
