NOBO Brewing Company

With great anticipation we finally had the pleasure of visiting NOBO Brewing Company, North Boynton Beach, FL. We first tasted NOBO's lager at the Boynton Beach Mall during a non-profit event Oct 2016 and we were anxious to see their brewery open. With a 5barrel system, 13 taps and a loft full of aging barrels we are happy to say we finally had the opportunity to taste their brew only 9 days after their soft opening. We are big fans of small, up-and-coming craft breweries, and NOBO perfectly fits into that slot. We took a quick tour of their brewery, cold storage, tap room and even saw the new fermentors ready to come online. The two co-owners built everything themselves from every piece of brew equipment to the drywall. They really built their business by hand from the ground up. This is clearly a business based on the pure pleasure of wanting to create something special. And it works - you can taste the passion in every glass and you can see it in their faces as they tell you their story and what they have created. The subway tiled, britely lit taproom is small. There are 5 barstools and two cafe tables. Outside the front door is a patio with two more tables making it feel like you stepped in for a drink in a western european brew haus minus the clutter. They were just unpacking the first batch of t-shirts the night we stopped in. Everything is brand new, the lines are brand new, the enthusiasm is overflowing and if you hurry you might get a taste of the first inaugural batch. If you are near Highridge Road in Boynton Beach stop in at NOBO and say high to Steve.
