Wynwood, Miami

Wynwood, Miami is a neighborhood full of street art and good craft beer breweries. We made our 2nd visit to the area in April to visit two spots: Concrete Beach and Wynwood Brewery. We had the good fortune of meeting Luis G. Brignoni the founder of Wynwood and for whom Pop's Porter is named. He took us on a personal tour and told us how him and his son enjoy building the brewery and working together. They opened their doors in 2013 and recently were purchased by Portland-based Craft Brew Alliance, so now along with the enjoyment also comes a lot of good hard earned money. They intend to remain as the onsite managers and brewers. The place was jammed with happy customers on a Saturday afternoon. We watched as a pub crawl came by and the people briefly brought the place to near capacity. It's was nice seeing so many people share the enjoyment of good craft beer made by a father son team.
